The inn is as elegant and beautiful as an Oriental fairytale, but what impressed me the most is the service. The dignified manner, the politeness and the hospitality of the staff who treat you as a dear guest in their country is something I have not experienced for years. They are there for you 24 hours. The location turned out perfect. From my room (#8, second floor, spotless, two French windows, electric fireplace, large well-designed shower) I could see the Maiden tower and the Caspian on the horizon (all I dreamed about). The view from the restaurant (open 24 hours) - on the terrace on top - is breathtaking. At breakfast (delicious, made to order) you watch the rooftops of the city slowly waking up and at night you are as if soaring over the city lights of the Baku Bay. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet, with some live music playing. After a day of walking, I came up just for a pot of local tea and dessert and it was amazing. I would like to thank all the staff for this wonderful experience. I would definitely come back. Some possibly useful details. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport. If you install the Bolt app, it's 7 manat. I just took a taxi for 30 manat (beautiful drive). A 7 minute walk takes you down to the water - to the Baku boulevard. Nizami street with busy night life and restaurants is 5 minutes away. The location is quiet on one hand, but on the other hand it's not dark or remote to be scary at night. The entrance is well lit and opens to a square with a historic monument. It felt really safe.

-Overall, this is a stunning five star hotel in an incredible central location in Old Town. It overlooks the nearby Maidens Tower, one of the main tourist attractions of Baku. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, otherwise, this review would be 10 pages long. -The rooms are befitting of the hotels name - Sultan Inn. The ceilings are gloriously high. The window treatments are a rich brown purple with deluxe tie-backs with gold leaf wooden valences. All the doors are 9-10’ high guy u. My room had wooden floors and also a fireplace. The bedroom area is on a slightly raised area (for a little elegance). The ceiling had neat architectural features. -The General Manager is very personable and helpful. I had visa issues getting into the country. The hotel was very patient while I worked out the situation (was in Georgia at the time). -The views from the 3rd floor Breakfast Room are stunning! Breakfast was delicious and included cooked-to-order eggs. The prepared plate of cold items was nothing less than gourmet (cheeses, both hot and cold meats, butter, candied fruits, and various spreads to accompany the big basket of fresh baked goods). -The WiFi worked good. -The water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. -There was daily maid service - a rarity in today’s post Covid world. -The hotel is in a very safe area (even to walk around late at night). -The hotel is extremely easy to find since it’s literally right next to one of the most visited and tallest sites in the Old City, Maidens Tower. After a long day of touring, getting back to your hotel is extremely important! -There are great restaurants and shops only a 2-3 minute walk away.

The room was outstanding. Spacious, comfortable and to a very high standard. The hotel staff in the lobby were amazing, always kind and helpful. We could not fault the main hotel and would make this our first choice to stay, when visiting Baku again.

My wife and I were invited to a wedding in Baku. We chose the Sultan Inn hotel because of its location, and the reviews were quite favorable. We took a taxi to the old city, where there was a barrier and an entry fee of 2 manats. We gave the money to the taxi driver, who then drove us directly to the hotel. But then the troubles began: when you order a taxi to the hotel, it doesn’t arrive because cars are not allowed into the old city. Sometimes they are let in, sometimes they aren’t, and it’s impossible to predict. We were getting ready for the wedding, but we couldn't order a taxi to the hotel. We had to walk on the cobblestones to the exit of the old city. Women in heels can understand how difficult this is. When we were leaving, the same problem occurred, and we had luggage with us. Only after I complained to the old city administration was the issue resolved. The hotel itself is very good, the staff is excellent, the team is very dedicated, and the breakfasts are superb with a wonderful view of the old city and the tower. But the fact that you can’t get to the hotel by taxi spoils the entire impression of the trip. Whoever came up with this idea clearly doesn’t understand tourism, and such people can ruin even the best idea: tourists won’t go where it’s uncomfortable. Think about it. I would have rated the hotel a 10 if not for this issue.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in İçərişəhər, and it was a delightful experience! The location of the hotel is simply astonishing, nestled in the heart of the historic district with easy access to all the iconic landmarks, for example, QızQalası. Walking through the cobblestone streets and admiring the beautiful architecture made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The hotel's proximity to the vibrant city life and cultural sites was incredibly convenient, making it the perfect base for exploring Baku. The staff were warm and welcoming, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were well-appointed, clean, and elegantly designed, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. Staying at this hotel in İçərişəhər was a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich history and beauty of the city!

the hotel is situated just in font of the Maiden Tower. It is surrounded by many restaurants and has a walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. A great advantage is that it is situated in a very calm area, even if being very central. It is quite calm and silence at nights. The staff was extremely helpful, always ready to efficiently solve any issue.

My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a great view of the Maiden Tower. Staff were always helpful; they gave me a breakfast to go when I had an early flight to catch. The location couldn't be better. I would stay here again if I return to Baku.

We enjoyed our stay in Azerbaijan. Experiencing their culture, food, the Old City, visiting the Fire Mountain, the friendly people. But what really makes our trip complete and satisfying is the services and warmth the hotel staff provides us. Our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to Alekber, Elvin, Orkhan, and Ravan who has been so nice in making sure our needs are met and our stay pleasant. Thank you guys. Location of hotel is good in the Old City. There is a Terrace restaurant on the top floor that serves very good quality food at reasonable price. Lastly, the room is large, comfortable, and spacious.
